Armed Hold Up at Coffs Harbour Liquor Store

Police are investigating after an armed robbery in Coffs Harbour this morning.

According to Police, at around 10am, a 57 year old man was working in the Liquorland store near Park Avenue when an unknown man entered the store and approached the man.

The staff member was then threatened by the offender with a knife.

The employee has then tried to leave the store but the man has followed the employee onto Park Avenue.

The 57 year old man then called police, as the offender left the scene on foot.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command are investigating the incident, and are looking to speak to a man described as being in Caucasian and in his mid to late twenties.

He is about 178cm tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a black hooded jumper and bright yellow knee-length shorts.

Hit 105.5 understands that no money was taken and no one was physically injured in the incident.
