It's been confirmed a Woolworths is heading to Newcastle's CBD.
IRIS Capital has confirmed a smaller version of the fresh food people is moving into the retail component of Hunter Street Mall development bordering Perkins and King Streets.
The Woolworths Metro is expected to open by mid-2020.
