A Song About Sausage Rolls Looks Set To Top The UK Charts (This Is Not A Joke)

We Built This City could be the UK’s number one song at Christmas but it won’t be about Rock ’n’ Roll if it makes it, instead, it will be about Sausage Rolls.
Youtuber Ladbaby, AKA Mark Hoyle, has released a song in time for Christmas that is all about his love of sausage rolls.
The single has been released in support of a charity called the Trussell Trust, that hopes it can end hunger and poverty in the UK.
In the mid-week chart, released on Monday, Lad Baby was sitting at number 2, ahead of Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U Next’ but behind ‘Sweet But Psycho’ by Ava Max.
It is thought, that while Lad Baby is gaining incredible download numbers, his song isn’t being streamed very often and with the UK charts accounting for both, he may well miss out by a very small margin.
