You may have been to a race day where you actually missed seeing the horses, due to other commitments, but at the Boulia Camel Races that won't be the case.

All eyes will be on the track this July 19-21 when professional camel racing will draw a crowd to Boulia on the edge of the Simpson Desert.

Every great race meet has a great d-floor, and you'll get exactly that at the Boulia Camel Races, live music will be getting your left feet grooving on Friday and Saturday night after an awesome day by the track!

The fun doesn't stop there, make sure you get among the CAMEL TAGGING which will have you laughing out loud, expect maybe if you're the one doing it...

The object is to ‘tag’ a camel by sticking a piece of duct tape on it, then run back to the starting position, only to have to then chase down that same camel to retrieve the tape and finally return to the judge at the starting position #goodluck!
