A GoFundMe For Injured Koalas Has More Than Tripled The Donation Target!

Footage has been circulating this week of a woman bravely running into fiery woodlands to save a badly burnt Koala named Lewis. 

This is just one example of Australia's passion for our furry icon and to ramp things up a notch, a GoFundMe page which was developed to help rescue and hydrate injured koalas, has received almost $1 million in donations from the public. 

To tell us more about it, President of the Koala Conservation Sue Ashton spoke with the Hit Network's Nick, Jess & Simon about the potential extinction of Koala's, how the Koala Conservation plans to prevent this and what locals can do to help.
