A festival dedicated entirely to the very best gins in the country is about to happen in Port Adelaide!

Held at the Flour Shed, Hart’s Mill in Port Adelaide, Gincident will see companies like Prohibition, Four Pillars, Archie Rose, Adelaide Hills Distillery, McHenry, Cape Byron, and 36 Short, come out and showcase their best gins for us to enjoy.

“Inside the Flour Shed, the main bar – “Ginsational” – will be run by one of Adelaide’s favourite gin dens, The Howling Owl, making gin cocktails with some of the finest Australian Gins,” the event explains.

“Festival goers will also be able to try free samples from around 20 different gin distillers and enjoy the beauty of the garnish bar, hosted by Fever Tree tonic and Adelaide bar, Haines & Co. Outside there will be a selection of amazing local food vendors, to let you dine with friends under the leafy canopy of Mundy Street.”

Yes please!

Local distillers will also be hosting gin Masterclass sessions and, as always, live music and good food will also be available.

Although pre-sale tickets are currently sold out, gate sales are still available, with the first 3000 people entering the festival receiving a special gin cup for refills and tastings.

We’ll leave you with this event name description:

Gincident: (noun) An event that happened due to one too many gins.”
