A Cocktail Mixing Truck Is Rolling Through Sydney Delivering Free Drinks!
If you’ve been tucked away at home dreaming a magical boozy version of an ice-cream truck would pull up to your street, you’re in luck! The dream is now a reality!
Whiskey brand Monkey Shoulder have teamed up with some of Sydney’s best bars to deliver cocktails across the Eastern Suburbs and up the Northern Beaches, with some freebies available every day.
Launching on World Cocktail Day (13 May), 'Australia’s Largest Cocktail Mixer Truck' will make its way across a number of Sydney suburbs, delivering door-to-door cocktails direct from a number of trailblazing bars and their talented bartenders.
Monkey Shoulder will partner with a new venue each week and feature a special code that eagle-eyed fans can find on the truck which unlocks a redeemable free cocktail on the venue’s website.
Where are they going?
The Monkey Mixer’s first stop will be at Potts Point’s premiere cocktail bar The Roosevelt, making deliveries from 13-17 May.
The following week, from 20-24 May, Monkey Shoulder will join forces with one of Sydney’s leading pubs, The Unicorn, in Paddington, unlocking free premium cocktails for those in the surrounding areas.
Travelling from the Eastern Suburbs to the Northern Beaches, the Monkey Mixer will collaborate with Donny’s Bar from 27-31 May, bringing the unique service to a Manly favourite.
To finish up, Monkey Shoulder will come to the streets of Sydney’s CBD with the help of one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, Maybe Sammy. We're promised the month-long activity will end with a bang between 3-7 June!
The special ‘Lockdown Cocktail Menu’ to be delivered will include:
The Espresso Monkey
Work meets play, in a good way. Tastes like a whisky, with a twist on the classic coffee cocktail.
A Whisky and Campari punch to ver-mouth. Tastes like a Negroni with attitude.
To make things sweeter, throughout the month, Monkey Shoulder has also partnered with online bottle shop Boozebud to offer a $29 gift with every bottle purchased from 13 May – 5th June.
