A new report reckons that up to $8 billion worth of the Australia's cash is completely unaccounted for.
Of the $76 billion currently in circulation, it estimates that anywhere between 5% to 10% of banknotes have been “lost, destroyed, forgotten about, or …(are) sitting in numismatic collections”.
