More doses on the way

Another 40 local GP’s across the Central Coast are joining the Pfizer rollout this month.

It comes after a promise that the Central Coast will receive more doses of the Pfizer vaccination, which will allow more GP’s in the area to administer the jab.

The majority of doctors will come online in the next fortnight, but it is not yet known when the new Pfizer doses will arrive and exactly how many there will be.

But Federal Member for Robertson Lucy Wicks says these extra GP’s give Central Coast residents more availability to the jab.

"This means there will be more than 110 places, local places, where central coast residents can get vaccinated against Covid 19.”

But Terrigal MP Adam Crouch has had enough of waiting now publicly demanding Canberra increase our supply.

“It isn’t fair to tell students under the age of 18, pregnant women, and people with medical contraindications to only get vaccinated with the Pfizer when there’s not enough supply to meet demand on the Central Coast.”

Premier Gladys Berejiklian is standing firm on the promise that we will see further freedoms when 70 per cent of that State has received their first dose of the vaccination.
