This morning, Mak caught up with Origin legend, Steve Walters, to chat all things Billy Slater and his predictions for the 2018 NRL Grand Final this Sunday!
"I think the NRL Grand Final gets bigger & better every year now. Like everyone else, I'm really looking forward to the game."
"Two of the really top quality teams, both have such good defensive sides and I think they're the top two teams in that regard. Of course very excited now that Queenslander Billy Slater gets to play his last game, so I'm very happy about that," Steve said.
In terms of what players to watch out for this weekend, Steve's answer was pretty straight-forward.
"There's 26 of them! They're both top quality sides. Latrell Mitchell has had a really big year for the Roosters...there's lots of comparisons to Greg Inglis as everybody says. For the Storm, Munster & Slater," he said.
Mak asked if we're set for a tight game or if we can expect to see a decent winning margin.
"Hopefully we get a few tries. I'm sure it will be pretty tight. They're both such good defensive teams, but you'd think with all the attacking power on both sides, you'd think you're going to get a few tries," Steve said.
