Townsville local Matt O’Hanlon is set to embark on the trip of a lifetime hiking Mt Everest base camp despite NEVER walking Castle Hill. Matt and his partner Elle made the commitment after losing Matt’s mum to Leukaemia. Matt told us ”losing my mum was the hardest thing I’ve have ever had to go through“.
Obviously since signing up Matt’s training routine has stepped up significantly proudly boasting he now walks Castle Hill sometimes multiple times a day.
Every single day 35 Australians will be confronted with the news they have been diagnosed with some form of blood cancer. Matt says “This is just one small thing he can do to help”.
