Donations are coming in fast for a man critically injured while welding a boat at Black River.
The soon to be father, Joel Stanger was working on the boat on Friday when it exploded.
The 23-year-old is in a coma in hospital at the moment, after suffering broken bones and losing his teeth in the blast.
So far over $14,000 has been raised for Joel on a GoFundMe page.
The page had a goal of $15,000 and is well on it's way to supporting the Joel.
"A good mate of mine had a bad accident while working in his shed. Joel was doing some welding when an explosion occured. Joel has suffered alot of broken bones (legs,face and arms). Knocked all his teeth out and is currently in a coma. Joels in a bad way and needs help. The money will go towards bills and his soon to be young family."
The page has only been active for 48 hours, but has already seen thousands of dollars raised from just 174 members of the public.
Alongside the donations are dozens of well wishes for Joel.
