Fire coach Claudia Brassard has credited her team's fitness for playing a role in their latest win. 

The girls beating the UC Capitals 76 to 65 on Friday in a tough battle on the court at Murray. 

Coach Claudia says her girls showed they could play the whole game without showing fatigue.

Suzy Batkovic was a stand out with 20 points and 12 rebounds during the game. 

It was a momentous career moment for Mia Murray playing her 150th game with the Fire and Cayla George marking her 200th WNBL game. 


The Fire now have 2 from 2 wins under their belts, and will be hungry to make it a hat trick at home this Thursday against Sydney.
