For 80-years, the escalators at Wynyard Station in Sydney literally saw it all.
We were all pretty shocked when we heard that they would be getting replaced when they give the station a makeover.
Thankfully, they haven’t chucked them in the bin for good!
They have been given a new life, parts of the four wooden escalators are now part of a large sculpture suspended above the station's new area.
The new section will be known as the "Interloop" and the sculpture was installed last weekend at the bottom of the new escalators at the York Street entrance to the station.
