Earlier this week, a giant sinkhole opened up very close to Aussie PM Malcolm Turnbull’s home in Point Piper. But there’s something we overlooked. The sinkhole, which is the size of a backyard swimming pool, was located right in front of Sydneysider Kirsty Mirzikinian’s house.
First things first – we know Point Piper is one of Australia’s wealthiest suburbs. It sits in Sydney’s east, harbourside, with a median house price of $6.365 million as of 2015. The Prime Minister lives there. You get the point.
Kirsty is just a regular Point Piper resident, but her response to the sinkhole has gone nothing short of viral.
Rocking hot pink lipstick, blue gym year and a Mercedes Benz umbrella, Kirsty told it how it is.
“Honestly, I’m in shock. I’m in shock right now because I’ve come home and there’s a massive hole opposite my house,” she started with.
“My personal trainer has come, my electricity is off and now I don’t know what to do!”
The sinkhole was caused by a ruptured gas line following extreme amounts of rain earlier in the day.
