Sydney copped another soaking overnight, with power now back on to all 8 thousand homes around Cherrybrook, Pennant hills and Beecroft, after it was cut during storms.
There was massive delays at the airport, after radio frequencies were knocked out as 14 hundred bolts of lightening hit the city.
While a man was actually struck by lightening in Winston Hills, he was taken to hospital but said to be doing ok.
"The hills distinct they copped a lot of rain as storms rolled through, so Baulkham Hills picked up 114mils, West Pennant Hills picked up 101 and around the Parramatta/North Rocks around they picked up 94, which is heavy rain totals" Kim Westcott from Weatherzone said.
While if you had some outdoor plans for the long weekend, bad news.
"So today we are looking at showers again on the cards and possible thunderstorms, mainly for the east. We are looking at falls in between 30-40mils today and we will see these showers continue into Friday and unfortunately into the long weekend as well" Westcott said.
