The rainy start to summer continues across Sydney today, with bleak skies offering little but potential drizzle as the day wears on.
Thunderstorms, heavy rain and very high tides are all slated for an appearance today - and Sydney Harbour has even broken its banks in the CBD near Sydney's Royal Botanical Gardens.
“An east coast low is affecting NSW. There is currently a severe weather warning for heavy rainfall and abnormally high tides for parts of the south coast and Illawarra from Nowra to just south of Eden,” Sky News Weather meteorologist Rob Sharpe said.
It's expected that Sydney will have more rain until at least Wednesday.
