Residents of new housing estates in Sydney's west have encountered a frustrating problem: the streets are so narrow, the garbage collectors are unable to do their rounds.
Due to big houses, narrow streets and winding roads, trucks are not able to clear streets in Penrith's Thornton area.
According to a report by the Daily Telegraph, several trucks have swiped houses and garages while attempting to navigate the suburb.
Drivers have also been forced to get out and manually wheel bins up the street to the truck for rubbish collection.
In some parts of the area, residents have to leave their bins a block away on a different street, just to ensure that the trucks can collect them.
