If you use the M5 on your daily commute, you could be looking at a bill of over $3000 annually to take the trip.
According to Nine News, when the WestConnex opens in 2020, the increase in cost will really be felt in the hip pocket.
Currently, it is around 41 cents per trip after the cashback on the M5 South-West.
When the new tunnel from Kingsgrove to St Peters opens, a $6.60 toll will come with it.
This means that what is currently a yearly cost of $189 will blow out to $3040.
It is understood that the NSW Government will keep the M5 cashback scheme operating until 2026, but it doesn't seem as though additional tunnels will be introduced.
