Police Say Sydney Shooting Which Left 13-Year-Old In Hospital Was 'Not Random'

Police believe a late-night shooting, which left a 13-year-old in hospital was a targeted attack.

Emergency services were called to Constance St, Guilford at 9.45 last night, following reports of a number of shots being fired into a garage. 

When police arrived, they discoved a 13-year-old who had been sitting in the garage with a group of people had been shot in the thigh. 

The girl was taken to Children's Hospital Westmead in a serious but stable condition. 

News.com.au reports police believe the shooting was not random.
