Tbh, we are all about anything dessert… and the latest dessert to hit Sydney has us drrroooling!
Say hello to KOI’s Limited Edition ‘Fruit Series’.
They are created by MasterChef ‘Dessert King’, Reynold Poernomo.
They have just launched in stores this week and they are already taking off!
The fruits are made using an individual mould to the shape of the fruit. They then used coloured cocoa butter to match the colour of the fruit for the coating.
The peach is sprayed.
The apple is dipped in a mirror glaze.
The pear is dipped in the cocoa butter mixed with vanilla beans.
After this process, they are then filled with the individual mousses.
Reynold Poernomo says, "My mum and I were inspired by Cedric Grolet, a French pastry chef from Lemeurice, and we wanted to put our KOI spin on it."
We can’t even deal with this creation!
