A little dog has been hailed a hero after saving the life of her owner, an 84-year-old grandmother, in Sydney's west.
Princess the Jack Russell managed to help Joan Irwin after she had a fall in her Blacktown home and was trapped for 12 hours.
She was unable to get up or call for help, and spent the night on the floor.
Neighbours popped over to check on her but were unable to get inside the house.
Ms Irwin managed to attach her keys to Princess' collar, and the lil pup saved the day by bringing the keys with her through a cat-flap in the front door.
The neighbours were able to get inside, with a NSW Ambulance spokesperson saying that Princess was "the hero of the day".
