A man has been impaled on a fence after falling from a ladder in Sydney this afternoon.
At roughly 3.10pm, emergency services were called to Bellevue Hill after reports that a man had fallen off his ladder and suffered a penetrating wound to his lower leg.
He is believed to be 36-years-old, according to NSW Ambulance.
It is understood that he fell and was impaled on a spiked fence below him.
Five paramedic units are currently at the scene.
The man is conscious and breathing, and has been provided with pain relief.
