If you’re well and truly over these winter blues, never fear, this weekend has got you covered
This Saturday and Sunday, we are looking at temps that could be the highest in July since 1990.
27 long years.
The temps are predicted to reach over 25 degrees on Sunday, which is just 0.9 degrees below the July record set in 1990.
The NSW town of Bourke is set to reach a high of 28 degrees!
While the temps on Saturday are expected to be sightly cooler, Sunday will make up for it with clear sunny skies most of the day.
Weatherzone Meteorologist Jacobus Cronjé told 9news.com.au, "It looks like it will be not too windy, and wind will come off the coast, so it should be a pretty nice day for the beach. This is unordinary, even the minimum temperature on Sunday is forecast to be 14 degrees.
"It will be quite warm and lovely throughout the day on Sunday, and then it looks towards the late afternoon and evening we could have the odd shower, mainly over the eastern parts of Sydney."
Sadly, the warm weather won’t stick around for too long.
Coming into Monday, it will take a big drop with the temps dipping back down below 20 degrees.
Make the most of this weekend!
