If you live in Sydney and feel like your wallet is looking particularly empty of late, it turns out you may be on to something.
Sydney has officially been crowned in the top 10 most expensive city to live in worldwide, beating the likes of New York and London.
According to research by the Economist Intelligence Unit, Sydney has landed 10th spot, which is four rankings higher compared to last year's results.
The Worldwide Cost Of Living 2018 Report sees rent, transport, food, utility bills and recreational costs compared between 130 cities.
Singapore has topped the list, followed by Paris, Zurich, Hong Kong and Oslo.
New York came in at 13th place, while London has dropped right down to 30th spot.
