We don’t want to create a scene BUT this is a very big deal. A Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival is heading our way… and that means we are getting a Japanese food festival to match.

From the 18th of August, to the 27th of August we will be blessed with our very own little Tokyo in the Auburn Botanic Gardens.

The gardens are set to transform into a fun filled festival, Japanese style.

We are talking sumo wrestling, silent discos, cherry blossoms and of course... FOOD.

There will be with Japanese food trucks filled with bao, bento boxes, gyoza and okonomiyaki.

Some our faves will be there including, Mr Bao, Mavericks Wings and Shiso Fine.

It is also believed that J Dogs will be there serving Japanese inspired hot dogs.

There will also be a bar supplied with Asahi, sake and plum wine.
