If you've ever had a meal that involves truffles, you'd already know how tasty they are, despite their strange looks.
Gelato Messina think that pairing truffles with some delicious gelato is a match made in heaven, so they're bringing back their truffle degustation again to tantalise your taste buds!
Messina’s Creative Department have sourced truffles from Parkesbourne and Northcliffe in Western Australia to create a glamorous degustation menu that you'll definitely drool over.
There's a kiwi kosho sorbet (kosho is a fermented Japanese chilli-yuzu paste, by the way), dotted with “oyster snow” and grated truffles; an egg-yolk gelato that sits in a hollowed out eggshell and is topped with shiitake, celeriac and truffle foam; and finally, a truffle gelato resting on a mound of potato and parmesan risotto.
Don't worry, there will also be plenty of tasty drinks for you to wash these dishes down with too!
This wonderful degustation menu will be available in Sydney, Melbourne AND Brisbane, so if you're going to be in those cities anytime soon, you better get involved.
