A Domino's pizza worker has been shot during an armed robbery in western Sydney.
It is understood that the 21-year-old man was working at the restaurant in Wentworthville when a person armed with a gun arrived and demanded cash.
The gunman opened fire during a confrontation.
The victim then stumbled to Wentworthville Police station early on Sunday morning accompanied by another man after being shot in the chest and hand.
"It's quite amazing in the fact that he was able to walk and seek assistance," Inspector Matthew Hyde said.
"He's an extremely brave young person."
He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
