Listen up lone travellers of Australia, we just got our first capsule hotel, so now you don't need to live in the pockets of strangers.
The city of Sydney was left devasted when they heard Bar Century was to be closing their doors, however, given a great pick-me-up, when it was announced that it was to be replaced with the country's first capsule hotel... aptly named The Capsule Hotel.
"The hotel is upstairs from Bar Century. They had over 50 people booked on the first night, at $50 a capsule and $65 (for a double capsule); it's like a boutique hotel at a bargain price," Ed Kenny from Giant Design, the company responsible for the makeover, said.
"I stayed in a couple in Tokyo doing research, it's actually very calming."
Tucked away above the renovated and newly named Century Bar, the hotel is in the heart of Sydney's CBD on George St.
All of the capsules come with a TV, in-room safes, a light dimmer, and are fit with air conditioning.
