1,000 Free Trees Are Being Given Away In Sydney

The City of Sydney is giving away 1,000 free trees to local residents this weekend!

You can literally make a day of it, go down to Sydney Park at 10am on Saturday, grab a tree and have a sausage sizzle!

There will be 24 varieties to choose from, with everything from, native to exotic species and a range assorted citrus trees. 

There is catch though, you do need to be a City of Sydney resident to be eligible for a free tree.

So we are calling everyone who lives in the following suburbs: Alexandria, Annandale, Barangaroo, Beaconsfield, Camperdown, Centennial Park, Chippendale, Darlinghurst, Darlington, Dawes Point, Elizabeth Bay, Erskineville, Eveleigh, Forest Lodge, Glebe, Haymarket, Millers Point, Moore Park, Newtown, Paddington, Potts Point, Pyrmont, Redfern, Rosebery, Rushcutters Bay, St Peters, Surry Hills, Sydney, The Rocks, Ultimo, Waterloo, Woolloomooloo, Zetland
