Wentworth District Preschool are among those benefiting from the NSW State Government's Community Grants Scheme.
Up to $7,000 has been handed down to help locals boost the number of Aboriginal children, and disadvantaged children participating in quality early childhood education in the year before school.
Deniliquin Preschool, Deniliquin Mobile Children's Service, Griffith Central Preschool have all received support under the scheme.
Murray MP Austin Evans says the Community grants are flexible, our local preschools can use the funding for specific individual needs.
Minister for Early Childhood Education and Aboriginal Affairs Sarah Mitchell says children have so much to gain from participating in quality early education, so programs like this where they can make preschool services more affordable and accessible for families is a no brainer.
