Men involved in bashing sentenced

Local News 3rd March 2017

The three men involved the bashing of a young man in Langtree Avenue almost 2 years ago have been sentenced.

25 year old Riley Allen was sentenced to 6 months prison and a three year community corrections order after his involvement in the attack leaving 21 year old Jaidon Brook with on-going injuries.

25 year old Daniel Aldolph and 27 year old Ashley Kempton were both given community correction orders three years for Aldolph and 2 years for Kempton of community work escaping jail time for their lesser involvement in the fight.

Judge Michael Bourke said yesterday the three men's actions needed to be condemned to deter others from doing the same thing.

The comments come after the launch of the Nationals' Get Out of the City Website this week which encourages regional communities to put their case to become the home of a Commonwealth agency such as the MDBA.
Mr. Joyce says it's time that taxpayer money was spread around so it can benefit more communities, not just Canberra.
