Griffith Base Hospital Has A New Renal Unit!

Friday 9th November marked the opening of Griffith Base Hospital's (GBH) temporary Renal Dialysis Unit. The occasion saw Member for Murray Austin Evans open the Unit as part of the $35 million GBH redevelopment. 

Mr Evans said that he is impressed by the new facilities, and believes they will "increase serviceability and comfort for patients and medical staff". 

MLHD Renal Stream Manager Kelly-Anne Marchioni stated that the Unit had reached its capacity, and that the redevelopment provides a much needed expansion to meet the demand.
