A woman and a young boy have been killed in a serious crash near Corrigin in WA's Wheatbelt.
The 26 year old woman and four children were passengers in a car which ran out of petrol around midnight on Brookton-Corrigin Road.
The 27 year old male driver left them to find fuel at a petrol station further down the road.
Shortly after, a semi trailer came around a bend and ploughed into the car, sending it into a paddock.
The impact killed the woman and a 10 year old boy, while three other children aged 8, 5 and 3 were airlifted to Perth for hospital treatment.
Police are currently at the scene and road closures are in place.
