Waterfall Rescue At Glenrock

Two people have been airlifted to hospital after falling near a waterfall at the Glenrock State Conservation Area.

It's understood an 11-year-old boy and a man in his 20s were exploring the forest near a waterfall at around 3pm when the pair slipped and fell around five metres, before becoming trapped in a waterhole.

Emergency crews were called and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter eventually winched them both to safety.

The pair are in a stable condition in the John Hunter with mild hypothermia and back injuries.
