The Hunter's Wet Autumn To Continue

It's been one of the wettest starts to autumn in the Hunter in years, and the wet weather is set to stick around.

Some parts of the Hunter like Williamtown have recorded rain for the past 11 days straight.

While Newcastle, Nelson Bay, Williamtown, Scone, Singleton and Cessnock received 60 per cent of their average monthly rainfall in the first five days of March, according to Weatherzone.

The forecast is for a mostly sunny weekend across the Hunter, however more showers are expected throughout next week.
