Swansea Child Approach Incident A "Misunderstanding"

UPDATE: Police now say yesterday's reported child approach incident at Swansea is "non-suspicious".

Two young kids claimed they were approached by a man who tried to lure them into his van outside the Woolworths.

A man attended Belmont Police Station this morning and spoke to officers who have determined the incident was a misunderstanding.

No further police action will be taken.

EARLIER: A man has tried to lure two young children into his car outside the Swansea Woolworths.

He struck up a conversation with the 5 and 7 year olds yesterday afternoon, asking them to go to his car parked nearby.

The kids told their mum who reported him to police.

The man's caucasian, aged in his early 60's and was wearing dark blue crocs.

It's believed he was driving a light blue van.
