A man’s been found critically injured lying on the side of the M1 on the Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to Calga at about 8am Saturday, following reports a man was wandering on the motorway.
The 58 year old was found in long grass with injuries consistent with a motor vehicle collision.
He was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition, however he’s now listed as stable.
Crash investigators have spoken with the man, who says he has no recollection of what happened to him.
Any witnesses are urged to contact police.
