Parts of the Hunter have enjoyed their best rainfall in nearly two months.
Showers moved through the region this morning, bringing desperately needed rain across the drought-affected Upper Hunter.
Some areas recorded at least 10mm of rain in just a couple of hours, including Scone, however other areas barely got a drop.
The rain isn't sticking around though, with dry weather forecast for the rest of the week.
Temperatures are also set to climb into the mid 20's this weekend, including 28 degrees at Bulahdelah on Saturday.
