Food Standards ANZ has announced a recall of a popular brand of apple pie, due to the presence of glass inside the product.
Nanna's Family Apple Pie is available for sale in Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Foodlands across the country.
The recall comes following concern for the potential presence of glass in an ingredient used in the 600g version.
This stems from a supplier issue, due to equipment failure.
No other products of this brand are affected.
The recall only impacts best before dates 21 October 2020 and 22 October 2020.
Anyone with this product is advised not to consume it, and instead should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
