Legendary Marvel comic-book writer and film producer Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95.

Lee began his career working at Timely Comics in 1931. 

In 1961, Lee created Marvel along with Jack Kirby, giving birth to major stories like Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four,  Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers.

Stan Lee was extremely beloved amongst the Marvel community and eager cinema goers, making a cameo appearance in every single Marvel film.

Over the last year, the state of Lee’s health made headlines after a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.

His death was confirmed by his daughter overnight.
