PSOs Will Patrol Train And Tram Stops During Australian Open VicPolice

For the first time Protective Services Officers (PSOs) will patrol on trams and train stops for the Australian Open.

From Monday 15 to Sunday 28 January, from 8am til 2am, PSOs will be present at the Melbourne Park and William Barak Bridge tram stops as well as Flinders Street and Richmond railway stations.

Vic Police say they’ll be proactively targeting crime and antisocial behaviour and keeping people safe during the event.

As with previous years, traffic and crowd measures will be in place, so those attending the tennis are advised to leave a bit of extra time to get through the gates.
