Police are investigating a fatal collision which occurred on the 13th of July in Frankston.
According to Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives, a Kia Rio was believed to be travelling east on Cranbourne Road at about 9.40pm.
As it was passing through the intersection with the Moorooduc Highway, it has collided head-on with a pole.
The female passenger, a 16-year-old from Mount Eliza was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and died on the 29th of July without gaining consciousness.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old woman from Safety Beach was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No one else was injured in the collision.
