Major Delays In Melbourne's West Following Crash Overnight AAP

Traffic delays continue in Melbourne’s west after a motor cyclist was killed in an multi-vehicle accident overnight.   

The crash, which involved the man’s motorbike, a truck and a SUV happened on the Western Ring Road at the Princes Freeway on-ramp at around 12.25am on Thursday. 

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene, while a passenger in the SUV was taken to hospital.

People travelling in the area are encouraged to stay off the roads or take a different route if possible.
