The BUDGET was sensationally voted down WEDNESDAY afternoon.. some councillors not happy with the banding system for CANE GROWERS. The document now going back to the drawing board.. DEPUTY MAYOR AMANDA CAMM says they have absolute faith in MAYOR GREG WILLIAMSON to lead the process


The STATES PEAK MOTORING body have called on roads around the MACKAY region to be fixed. R-A-C-Q putting out a must fix list... with the PEAKS DOWN HIGHWAY, BOWEN DEVELOPMENTAL ROAD and BRUCE HIGHWAY between SARINA and MACKAY all high priorities.
