A Shepparton man facing 13 charges, including the trafficking and possession of close to a million dollars’ worth of drugs will remain in custody until his next court appearance.

Police allege the 41-year-old tried to flee a raid at his Skene Street property in June. 

The Shepparton News reports he'll remain locked up until September 25 for a summary offence hearing, and October 25 for a committal.

Local producers will get the chance to have all of their fruit fly questions answered during Hort Innovation's Fruit Fly Roadshow.
