Police turn the screws on hardware store robber

Police have released images of a man wanted for questioning over four break and enter offences at hardware stores in Logan.

Shop fittings were stolen from a store on Glasson Dr in Bethania in the early hours of June 5, while solar pond pumps, lighting and hydroponic accessories were taken from a shop on Commerce Dr, Browns Plains on June 13..

Then on June 16 a large number of power tools were stolen from a shop on Compton Rd in Underwood.

Someone also tried to break into another hardware store in Springfield earlier that night, but got away empty handed.

Investigators believed the incidents were all committed by the same man described as being Caucasian, in his 20s, 180cm tall and a proportionate build.

He was last seen driving a dark blue Toyota Starlet, with QLD registration 760 KNN.
