They searched the car after it was brought to a halt using tyre spikes, following a chase a couple of weeks ago.

The driver and passenger were arrested following the incident on July 29, and charged with a string of offences.

A 22-year-old man was charged with fifteen offences including failing to stop motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary, receiving tainted property, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possess tainted property and possession of a knife.

A 20-year-old Marsden woman was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of stolen property as well as two drug-related offences.

Both appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 31.

Officers are now hoping to reunite a number of watches, earrings, garage remotes and keys with their rightful owners, releasing images of the items.

Anyone who recognises the property is urged to contact or present to Crestmead station on Browns Plains Road.
