A Gold Coast mum has managed to raise $185,000 in just eight months in order to save her little boy's leg.
Three-year-old William Dickinson has a rare bone disorder (Congenital Pseudoarthrosis) that could eventually lead to his right leg having to be amputated if it isn't treated correctly and soon.
Thankfully, the community has rallied around William, donating enough cash to send him to the US next month, where he'll undergo surgery by a specialist, who has a 99 percent success rate.
His mum Aimee has posted on the A Way For William Facebook page, thanking everyone for their support.
"We thank and appreciate you with all our hearts and look forward to sharing with you the success of one little boy with big dreams, Mr William," she wrote.
Aimee and William leave for Florida in two-weeks.
