A man has been rushed to the PA Hospital in Brisbane in the care of critical care paramedics, after his car ran up the back of a fire truck on the Pacific Motorway.
It happened southbound on the M1 at Rochedale South around 4am.
The fire truck was parked at the time, with crews attending another vehicle accident.
The driver was cut free using hydraulic tools.
He's listed as seriously injured, but in a stable condition, with head, pelvic and lower leg injuries.
Traffic was still backed up in the Southbound lanes at 8am.
